Natalie’s clients appreciate her consummate professionalism and methodical work ethic that puts them first and leads them to success.
Extensive board experience
Natalie has served on community boards and committees in the Utica area in many capacities, including multiple board chair/president positions, giving her a multi-faceted perspective of being a board member, leading as a board president, and working productively with boards as an executive director.
On a personal note…
Natalie is lover of dogs, classic cars, golf, ballroom dancing, and travel. She believes strongly in “adopt, don’t shop” and giving senior dogs a home. Her current adoptees, a Labradoodle and Lab/Pit mix, were adopted at ages seven and six. She is never quite sure who rescues who. She recently brought home “Greta III” – the third blue Volkswagen Beetle she has owned. The original Greta was a 1971 model, purchased in 1973. Her favorite vacation locations include the British Virgin Islands; Burlington, VT; Mystic, CT; and she loves new adventures. She travels to the TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood each year. You can also find her every week in a Utica Elementary School kindergarten classroom as a Rotary Reader, a role she has enjoyed immensely since 2002.
Professional Background
Her career began at General Electric with the Financial Management Program. In 1986, she began working for The Savings Bank of Utica (currently M&T Bank) and over 15 years held vice president positions in finance, administrative services, and marketing.
In 2002, she pivoted her career to the non-profit sector when she took the Executive Director/CEO position at the Girl Scouts – Foothills Council, Inc. There, she managed the design and implementation of high-quality programs for almost 4,700 girls and over 1,500 adults. She led staff, board members, and volunteers in corporate planning, financial management, property management, fund development, marketing, and personnel administration.
In 2010, she became the Executive Director/CEO of the YWCA Mohawk Valley, Inc. where she analyzed, proposed, and implemented program restructuring, positioned the agency to be structurally sustainable, and led the staff and board in strategic planning, program delivery, and more. She retired in 2015.
